coldel
Just for fun, given the recent Supra re-birth (love it or hate it) what other cars of distant past do you think should be reborn, and why? I saw in the flesh the new NSX the other day, and it did look glorious.
Ekona
Capri. Pop the V8 from the Mustang into it and I’m sold. #Essexboi

LRF4N
Also speaking of the supra it was at donington, still undecided on it. Roofline is too high and with that it’s lost the proportions of the concept. Wheels aren’t great. Front is my aggressive enough but quite like the back. Would love to see it modified properly
Ponsonby
I also saw the Supra at Donnington and was not taken with it. I'd like to see it in the flesh in a different colour - not sure the black showed off its lines very well.

docwra
Just from Nissan the Sunny GTI-R and 200SX would be great to see back in the line up, in fact a lightish RWD 300hp coupe from anyone would be great. Toyota need to bring back the MR2 (someone needs to make a lightweight MR anyway) and someone needs to make something groundbreaking as an MPV rather than everyone having to buy ****ing Ford Galaxys. Some lightweight driver focused hatchbacks like the Peugeot Rallyes or Clio Williams are needed too, why dont we get rally homologations like the scoob and evo these days? Add a genuine affordable supercar for around £50K (the Supra could be very close) and we are back in 1990 again, happy days.

coldel
Arent the Ford Focus RS the equivalent of the Escort RS cars? Didn't the Focus replace the Escort?
ATTAK Z
[controversial] I wouldn't bring back any car ! I've owned and driven cars from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s - some I wish I'd kept (don't we all ?) and some I wish I'd never seen. All were crap compared to modern cars. Some of you will know that I recently bought a 1972 Chevelle. That was crap too and reminded me just how crap cars were in the 70s. [/controversial] Just my two penneth
ShortPaul
I personally think the focus will never replace cars like that I know the focus newer but never been a fan of it but they have started making mk2 escort shell again 15 minutes ago, coldel said: Arent the Ford Focus RS the equivalent of the Escort RS cars? Ian
Agree with the 200sx. Also an rx-7 that fits the larger gentleman would be be nice to have a proper skyline instead of the humongous GTR

LRF4N
New s body would be great. If the new zed (big if) does turn out to be a 4 pot turbo they should make it an s body instead
HEADPHONES
I always found the Brabus Smart Roadster/coupe pretty cool for a small car. A bit more manly than a Diahatsu Copen (which I am also strangely drawn to ) ....... just checked and the Copen IS coming back https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/motor-shows/daihatsu-copen-return Edited July 18, 2019 by HEADPHONES
ilogikal1
XJ220. Just because. And the Supra. They should definitely bring back an actual Supra*... *This isn’t true. I couldn’t care less about the demise of Supra actually.

Lee370Z
I also saw the Supra at Donington and I liked the exterior but I thought that the interior was a bit of a let down. A good shout on the 200sx and I loved my S14a big time.
