martinmac Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Not for me, my license is in Latin I seem to have heard that there is some kind of awareness course that young drivers can take which helps to reduce the insurance. Have tried google but keep coming up with the one which is designed for people caught speeding. Anyone know the correct name and roughly how much they are. Quote

AndySpak Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Here you go, this might be what you're after... http://www.advanced-driving.co.uk/ Quote
davetstan Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Yes it is called pass plus. From my brief time at Norwich Union I used to recomend it a lot to new drivers... Have seen it shave as much as 700 quid off a policy... Dave Quote
martinmac Posted April 13, 2008 Author Posted April 13, 2008 Thanks bud. Its for my niece who is 17 and has a very tight father so I am paying for the lessons Quote
Chris`I Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Pass plus is very good for dropping first time insurance costs. If you've been driving more than a year or two its not worth it though from what I've been told Quote
