3FIDDYZ
Not a chance mate! Unless they make something that looks and drives better with better build quality and for less money!! I did a technical search on Google... I searched for GT3 MR and this is what I got http://www.google.com/search?q=gt3+mr&r ... lz=1I7HPNN
Rish
Rick, its a rather well known Mk 1 996 GT3 on the porker circles. And might also be the most well looked after example I have seen. Its a polar silver car that he has had vinyl wrapped. Looks the bollocks. The MR stands for Manthey Racing, a tuning company based at Nurburgring. It has got a K400 kit, ie power upped to 400bhp from 360. That particular car has also got a lot of very interesting mods (almost all improve its performance one way or another) and goes like @*!# off a shovel. It has had an absolute fortune spent on it. Its more pampered than the most pampered thing in pampered land. Often very quick on track days. It helps that he is a pretty handy wheel man. Chap who owns it posts as polarexpress on PH and various porker forums. Top bloke.

3FIDDYZ
The pic I posted is Paint.... Vinyl does sound a good idea though... just wondering what it does to the finish when you pull it off though...
Rish
Sorry Mark, I was talking about the 911. Apparently does not damage the paint when taken off.
3FIDDYZ
Hummmmm Interesting concept... would also help with preserving the paint... Guess that the reason matt vinyl is used cause you couldnt polish the gloss stuff?...
Rish
Probably. Im guessing its a shampoo and dry job on that one. I can ask him for you if you want.
