Minid
Hi All looking for two front tyres, please size 225/45zr18 91w. Current ones are Falken and came up as advisory on last mot. Don't mind used as long as good condition. Otherwise will look for a new set at the usual retailers kwik fit are doing deals on mitchlins and pirelli's at the moment circa £125 each, thanks
Willsy1980
Someone posted up a bit of a horror story about the Pirelli's not long ago so i'd avoid those. It's also best to try and keep matching brands front to rear on the Z, it can cause unpredictable and somewhat terrible handling mixing brands. I can recommend the Rainsport 3's had those as my last set all round, about £102 for the fronts and about £125 for the rears iirc. Got 18 months out of them before they were done on the rear, fronts had some life left but would have been advisory so swapped them all. Giving the Nexen n'fera a try this time, fitted to the new Porsche's as standard so thought why not. So far, a little noisier than the RS3's and wet grip is down a little too. As for lifespan, well we shall see.

My current car (Mustang) come with Pirelli pzeros, they are okish but everyone says ditch them soon as and get Michellin pilot sports. Costco sell them if you are a member. Failing that go on Blackcirles.com and get them delivered and fitted cheaper locally. Usually good price. Hope this helps?

Ekona
I think they’re both awful shopping trolley tyres, but I’d still match the rears.

Ekona
Well what do they have it in? You can pretty much ignore the 91w bit tbh.
Minid
Thanks Ekona, they basically come in that one size 245/45/R18 100Y same as the back. Could find any other variations
350Butcher
Honestly, the best thing you can do here is not ask a forum about tyres.......too many opinions, with very little supplied in the way of facts or evidence. Not saying anyone/every one is right or wrong but as tyres can be so personal and every ones experience and ability levels are different the advice is as a result all over the place. Stick to the main big brands, run a mile from cheap budget tyres and you'll be absolutely fine.
