rickya
YES DEFINETLEY The only reason I just bought my Impreza Spec C from Litchfields is because of their reputation as being a company I can trust/ expertise in subject / specialists / know more about the car than others/ carry out all types of mods before delivery / & offer their own warranty. (The fact that I knew bugger all about Imprezas & had to literally buy with almost eyes closed, relying soley on dealer & his reputation, apart from Subaru there was no where else I would go) Also where else could I get them to do ECu tek litchfield remap/ fit Blitz Nur Spec exhaust/ fit brand new wheels tyres, sprayed in gunmetal. fit lots of extra security/ service/ etc etc, no indy or Subaru dealership would do it. Ok the Spec C may be more specialist as in more can go wrong than a Zed but still for a first time zed buyer it is far safer to buy from a reputable specialist or dealer than prvt sale or std indy. IMO a lot people would opt for Nissan dealerships & making ESR as wide known & public aware is not going to be easy. IMO you have to show ESR as the main 350z garage/dealership after Nissan in this country, but making the general public aware of your expertise & reputation may not be that easy. We know on these forums how good you are but we'v already bought zeds.

Sure we could add a few on there if need be

RobD7
Brilliant idea... I don't know too much about cars so worry when not buying new but if I was buying from someone highly thought of then I wouldn't hesitate or worry!!
davej
+1 Here too As my own experience showed, the monkey i bought mine from had no real knowledge of 350z's, turns out i knew more at the time! and we'd have quite happily bought from someone who could have answered all our questions with the aim of not just shifting a car of the lot and as we all know, when you buy a 350 you dont just buy a car you buy a lifestyle!! sinbad
+1 I think everything has been said. I certainly like the idea that you can back up the warranty with your own workshop. Your reputation and customer service is 2nd to none so it would inspre me with confidence to buy from you.

martinmac
And if its politically correct a link to this site on yours would answer a lot of questions and also serve as a pretty good testimonial. Even if they only read Zedrushs posts
Cool Hand Luke
Are you going ahead with this idea Phil?
Zummertor
A service like this I think has value and would be appreciated by buyers / sellers. Obviously most who look for these types of cars search Autotrader / Pistonheads and even Ebay so you'd pick up links from those places. Your location does limit you to potential customers as for not a truly specialist rare car not all buyers are prepared to travel or even search for more than 60-100miles from home post code. One option would be to tie up with "show room" or respected dealers in a couple of parts of the country where you could have a stock car or 2. they would have to not have the same specific interest in Zeds as you but like them to keep a space or two (I can think of one that might work down this way). You could always have "reference" customers around the country who'd be willing to show a couple of people locally what they might get from you, kind of like those kitchen show room techniques. Interesting business model suggestion with merit, all about reaching your targeted audience and then what you have to offer would sell itself.
