dcash5
The unread posts button, can it be made to 'unread since your last visit?'
sl114
Why? It works well as it is, if it is changed, then if you log in quickly, then out, then come back in again, it will only display a few new posts, not everything that you have not read? M13KYF
or similarly look at the Recent Topics

Sylvester
Would be useful if the unread posts could be sorted by date/time within Forum so that when you have a load to go through and you are not fussed by one or more forum you don't have to wade through those items. Or can you already do this and I haven't worked it out ?

Chesterfield
Unfortunately that is not possible with the current code. You can use the recent topics to find articles that have been posted since a certain date/time, or you can use the view unread posts to see all items that you have not visited. If you wish to clear all unread topics before you leave, then simply click "Mark All forums read" when on the forum index page. If you wish to mark all topics read within a certain section, then you click "Mark all topics read" from within that section. Though at present, there is no way of excluding specific sections from the results when you search for unread topics. Hope that helps
AndySpak
The unread posts button, can it be made to 'unread since your last visit?' You could always get in to the habit of clicking "Mark all forums read" just before you log off. That would do the same thing for you. But whats the point in coming on the site and then proactively avoiding threads?
jim
Click on the forums you are interested in, then use the Cooliris preview function in Firefox to zoom through the posts quickly - saves a lot of time.
