Nick U
Anyone got any good tips or know of any good products to get the exhausts tips shinning like mew?
Removed
I use Autosol, for the inside of my tips, and works great! not sure it works as well on chromed surfaces, though, as it is a mild abrasive....
WoREoD
I used Wonder Wheels on mine last weekend. Worked fine including the inside of the tips. JohnK

WoREoD
Thanks for the warnings. Did use it before on my Saab exhaust tail trim for some time and didn't have any problems - but I do rinse off after a minute or two with soapy water. Trog
I've always used T-Cut. Worked a treat on my last car - used it for 4yrs and still looked like new.

Josh350z
I use Silvo Silver Polish as recommended by Miltek!! How do I clean my stainless steel tailpipes without scratching or damaging them? A. Unfortunately, soot is a fact of life and as our tailpipes are made from the highest quality polished stainless steel, we have found that the best way to clean them is to use a Silver Polish. The actual specific product we use is called Silvo Silver Polish with Wadding. It's important to get the one with the wadding inside as it's really good at getting it clean. Clean the bulk of the soot off the surface with an old rag first and then use the polish/wadding to get your tailpipe(s) sparkling again. But you'll get a better finish on the outside, thats for sure! You might wanna use a different buffing cloth as the inside will be dirtier than S114's gay porn collection! You might wanna use a different buffing cloth as the inside will be dirtier than S114's gay porn collection! Personal digs will not be tolerated. plus if you are going to use my username, get it right, its sl114 But to add something useful, i cleaned the inside of my pipes and they came up a dull silver, they will not be chromed as they are not treated the same as the outside. But they still were pretty good.
