M13KYF
Gary and enjoy the forum they do tweak the alignment when the tyres are changed under warranty. I doubt it you'll be able to claim though
GIXXERUK
just stick some new boots on and get them laser aligned i had mine done when i bought the car and it honestly drove so much better, less noise, less twitchy and more planted its not very expensive probably wont get anywhere with the warranty as mike says but i always say - no harm in asking

steve_b
If you get it serviced by nissan dealer ask them to approach NMGB and see if they will pay for "part" of the fix....They may pay for everything except new tyres if you are very lucky and they want to improve their image for customer relations. Ebized
See if you can find out from the previous owner(s) if the problem was reported to a Nissan garage within the warranty period - if it was then you might stand a chance of some pay-back. I got a free set of front boots on my previous 04 ZED (within the warranty period). I did have to get a 4-wheel laser check for the local Nissan garage to send to NMGB as the garage didn't have the equipment. They will also check to see if your chassis no. matches with their list of suspect cars. I'm not convinced many garages "do tweak the alignment" - if they do not have the specialist equipment I reckon they just put on the new boots and say to themselves that it will be out of warranty before the problem comes back and leave things as they are. The feathering/noise issue on my car did not become noticable until the car had done about 15k and the tyres were about 60% worn. Good luck

nixy
the noise from my bridgestones at low speed is embarassing if anyone is with me! I can't justify new tyres until they get worn though so am just putting up with it for now!
