Luke350
Hi all. Picked my nismo up this week. Noticed the biting point is so high that it seems to just about completely engage right as I come off the clutch pedal. Salesman has told me that’s how nismos are. Does this sound right? I know slave cylinders go on these for fun so don’t want the biting point being so high knowing it could wear this out. If not, is it easy to adjust the biting point? Wayne370Z
I drove an 18 plate Nismo whilst mine was in for a service in February and, whilst the clutch definitely felt different, I would not say that the biting point was unusually high and certainly not right at the top. hmale4yu
I found that the clutch engagement is a different then other manuals. But you will get used to it. Ive got an 18 plate Nismo with the Exedy clutch
Luke350
When did they start doing the exedy clutch?
GranTurismoEra
2018 model onwards. Although some cars in late 2017 may have them. They wont admit it but the previous clutch wasnt the best.
