RobPhoboS
Hey guys, I've not had tyre wear like this before, just wondered about what it's likely to have been caused by. I only noticed it recently when doing some work but I can only guess that when I changed my outer tie rods, it was a week or so until I had an alignment done. Could it have come from that ? (note in the alignment they only changed the toe f&r - the camber is slightly different as I raised the car a touch) Yes, just patiently waiting for a whole new set to arrive (ADO8r) Just after I installed the SPL out tie rods (10th-ish Nov) Alignment 17th Nov (probably 150 miles later roughly) What I found recently ! Andy_Muxlow
I don't have an answer, but yes that is very strange. Could it be an annomily in the tyre? Bad batch maybe?
ZMANALEX
Combination of Pos. Toe and excessive Negative Camber will give you inside wear
RobPhoboS
Both L & R are like that just to note. Whenever this new set arrives I shall keep an eye on them, does the current alignment seem ok or still likely to cause that sort of wear ? I notice that the new AD08R's have a broader/squared shoulder compared to the Mich.
