ZMANALEX
Spray some Silicone along all the contact edges, especially along the top of the windscreen area.
Yarlsberg
OK thks, but the noise apears to be from where the roof mech is stored behind the driver- ie the collapsed metal frame Edited April 6, 2019 by Yarlsberg

Yarlsberg
Any advice please? Silicone on all the joints or something else - grease?
ZMANALEX
With the roof in the half-open position, remove the vinyl cover and inspect for anything loose or untoward. Then spray silicone on all the contact edge faces where the hood meets the body and apply white spray grease on all moving mechanical parts.
