RobPhoboS
Have a look on YouTube, plenty on there. Just take care with a pressure washer.
davey_83
I used a jet wash from about a foot away, being sure not to stay in the same place but to keep the jet moving. Rinse down All purpose cleaner 5:1 *foaming spray nozzle Various brushes to agitate Jet wash off Dry any surface and pooling water At least half hour drive to help dry the engine bay. The next day a trim dressing of choice. Tip - do the underside of the bonnet just before the engine final jet off. Umster
Surely the 370Z is gonna need some electronics covering up? I'm not too confident in dousing it with water, granted its a mechanical car (compared to zee German motors) but surely a few of the sensors will need hiding away first? coldel
I think usual good practice is to cover any fuse boxes/wiring etc. where possible. You engine bay will experience water coming into it when you drive in the wet but its worth being a little careful.
ilogikal1
Also worth noting to be careful around the air filter - especially if you've changed to an induction kit!! - and the battery. But otherwise, you're pretty much good to go nuts, within reason. If you're not confident with a pressure washer, a steam clear is "safer" and equally as effective, or a hose instead of a pressure washer is "safer" but less effective. Dylanhember
I always cover the air filters and any electrics with microfibers. Rinse it all down, spray APC to engine bay and underneath of bonnet. Agitate with a brush. Rinse. Job done!
