marzman
That is a great vid mate, well done. How was your car after the session? Are you going to need to replace discs and pads now or will they be ok? What else will you need to do to it? How come you kept slowing down every now and then - was it to give your car a break or yourself? This is something i'd be very interested in doing, probably next year, and am keen to learn more about! Cheers Chris.

How come you kept slowing down every now and then - was it to give your car a break or yourself? Hi Chris! No.. no need to replace anything (at least for now). Normally i start slowing down a bit when one (or more) of these condition occurs.... - braking starts fading.. - tyres starts squeaking too soon (over inflated them maybe ) - i am tired due to heat - i am satisfied after a "best lap".. - i want to wait for someone else to reach me and challenge These brake pads i have now have already 5 trackdays for a total of 160 minutes of track driving. Thay are still good! Brake rotors are still the original ones from when the car was delivered and now have about 28.000Km on the clock (it had never been at track before i purchased the car in September 2007). If you want to see more of my track driving.. here you go (this is MUGELLO track property of Ferrari): http://www.mstuning.net/csan/mugelloZ/mugello1130.wmv http://www.mstuning.net/csan/mugelloZ/mugello1230.wmv
