Eddie f
Hi everyone, became a 370Z owner a few weeks ago , just ordered springs and 20 mm spacers ..getting fitted in a few weeks . The car seems fine 47,000 miles 2010 plate.. previous owner has fitted a cobra exhaust, sounds amazing with roof down..would like a spoiler for the boot , but can’t find any .. and I am a bit worried something will go wrong with the soft top after reading posts about them , or am I just being paranoid .
Wheels 370z
Hiya Eddie..I used to own a 2010 roadster, had it for 12 months and zero problem with the roof. Coincidentally I also had the Cobra system, still miss it! Make sure you pull the steering lock fuse as the 2010 is known for failure... pull the fuse to prevent the problem. Just keep the fuse handy to drop back in when selling on. Edited February 27, 2019 by Wheels 370z
Wheels 370z
Link to a video explaining the process.. remember as this is a US model the battery and fuse are on opposite side of the engine bay.

Ebized
Nice roadster Just a word of caution noting you are planning on fitting 20mm spacers - they will not fit on the front due to the wheel design that means the OEM studs projecting through 20mm spacers do not allow the wheels to sit flush on the spacer. No issues on the rear. You need 23mm+ spacers - 25mm are what I used and do the job after finding the 3mm 'slip spacers' originally fitted with the 20mm distorted resulting in vibration. Eddie f
Thanks mate .. some people seem to have 20 mm up front with no problems ..I was hoping I would be lucky .
Andy_Muxlow
I went 25mm all round they sit nice and flush.
Eddie f
Was going to get 25mm , but was worried after lowering it would rub , I’ll just cut the studs on the front if they catch .

stanski
Welcome Eddie looks great. I used to have a 350z soft top and loved it to bits. I keep looking at 370z soft tops however finances not in place for such a toy. Got my 22 year old mx5 for now, not quite the same league. Sit
Looks stunning, just what I am after I think. Love the coupe but can only imagine the extra sensation of driving about in the sun with the roof down!! What's up with your roof you mention? Eddie f
Roof is fine , but the rubbers near the window have warped a we bit .. as you can see in pic ..don’t no if this is a common problem with age , but apart from that the car is mint . Did you need to cut the studs on the front. I really want 20mm spacers all round on my Zed with those Ray's.
