Liddell
Hey guys, do you provide recon engines by any chance? thanks, james
Mark@Abbey m/s
Yes we carry a rebuilt stock motor. What is wrong with your motor please? The main items that needs needs to be serviceable will be the crank if the crank needs replacing this adds to the cost of the recon motor. exchange engine is £2000 inc vat as long as you engine is serviceable thanks
Liddell
The crank is ok the garage the car is at said they suspect it’s piston rings but would need further investigation etc. is the stock model you have the Rev up engine? I have the 2006 350z GT Thanks, James

Liddell
Hi mark, thanks for the response, could I have some more details on the engine, as very interested. is it the 06 DE REV-UP (7000rpm) engine? what work was done as part of the rebuild? Ideally it is so it’s a like for like thanks, james
Mark@Abbey m/s
It’s a DE not a REV UP I am afraid
Liddell
Do you know if it’s compatible for fitting into my car?
NazMan
A DE engine is interchangeable with a Rev-Up engine.

Mark@Abbey m/s
We feel the DE is a better motor. We can transfer a DE tune across into the REV UP ecu and turn off the DTC that will be required when fitting a DE motor into a REV UP

Willsy1980
Out of curiosity, is that 2k for engine out, replacement in too ? Or is that extra ?
Mark@Abbey m/s
just for the engine , fitting is extra. cost is also relevant if the crank is serviceable from your exchange engine.
Willsy1980
Thought it sounded super cheap to be honest. I will keep you in mind should the need arise
