grigiux
Hi guys, I don't know much about brakes, but on higher speeds 80-100mph when I'm breaking my steering wheel shakes quite a bit and I hate it, with no brakes applied it's spot on and dead straight. What you recon should I put new front discs and pads or is there something else to look at? Car is 370z 2009
Jack94
Could be a warped disc/built up pad deposit. How long have you had your current discs/pads fitted? And when did you first notice the issue?

He used the car now and then, for shows etc, most of the time it sat in the garage..
Jack94
Ah right okay. Well if you've got (or can find a garage that's got) a DTI and a micrometer it's pretty easy to measure the runout and disc thickness. You can go from there then depending on what you find. Jack94
That might be what you need, but it's worth checking first just to be sure and save wasting money
