Cray Z Posted January 4, 2019 Share Posted January 4, 2019 Hi All, I have noticed with the colder weather that when you first jump in the car 1st and 2nd are sticky and a little hard to select. New gearbox oil and some molyslip can help aid selecting gears but you'll never get rid of the problem. davey_83 Posted January 4, 2019 Share Posted January 4, 2019 (edited) My 05' 350z has similar tendencies for 2nd gear when cold, fitting a weighted knob and extender really helped - plus looks nice. Ebized Posted August 30, 2019 Share Posted August 30, 2019 Absolutely normal when temps drop - in fact if the change was not stiff when cold I would be concerned as to whether the viscosity in the box was correct.
