Payco
Ok, so my sexy new rims are in transit from Japan. I want to cover them in Michelin rubber this time around on my 370z Nismo. The car is mainly driven in the summer and its not shy of the rain. Not tracked. What tyre from the Michelin range do members run or suggest ?. Dan, would of course be interested in your advice as the Tyre guru. Research suggest the MPSS but is has the model been replaced ? Nissan 370Z Tyres Drive a Nissan 370Z? bigjackb
Only problem is mps4s don’t come in the size needed for the Nismo. Mine will need replacing soon too as last time I managed to get mpss as last of stock but they are all gone now. Think I’ll need to go 265/35/19 front and 305/30/19 rear. Ekona
As Adrian says above. Basically if you have 19” wheels or bigger then it’s the PS4S for you, if 18” or smaller then PS4 are still excellent. I run the PS4 and they’re better than the old MPSS.
rabbitstew
Ive been running the PS4S on my daily driver for last 18 months and to say they are awesome is an understatement. The sheer level of grip & feedback is amazing. Not only that i've done around 20,000 miles in them and they are still nowhere near the wear bars. Compared to 12 months and 14,000 miles which killed the set of rubbish Pirelli P-Zeros which I had before hand.

bigjackb
Just been looking more into this and will increasing the tyre size to 265/35/19 and 305/30/19 increase the arch gap as well? If so would 255/40/19 and 295/35/19 be an alternative?
Payco
Thanks. Found some MPS 4’s in stock sizes so going with that as my custom rims are same sizes as the Nismo rims. Nismos going up for sale soon.
bigjackb
Where did you manage to find 245/40/19 in pilot sport 4s? Also for any tyre gurus would 255/40/19 and 295/35/19 fit without altering the ride hide?
Payco
I think it was black circles using the the drop down size options but I’m not ready to buy them yet and not 100% sure as I have done a lot of searching.

Inspires confidence especially now the weather is colder, wetter and icy at times too.
Sim
I've got to agree with Adrian, I ran the MPSS and went to the MPS4S, (not to be confused with the MPS4), they are an amazing tyre. Both my wife and I run them on our Zeds.
