Getjiggy
Hi Chaps, Recently had my Rays powder coated dark grey and cant help but think gold nuts over the OEM silver ones will finish it off nicely!! However, I'm struggling to source any. Am I right in saying the OEM ones are M12x1.25 ?. I also have 25mm spacers on rear and 20mm front, so should I be looking for extended lugs? This is confusing me just writing it... I'm hoping there are some traders on here that may be able to point me in the right direction =D Cheers in advance! Payco
m12 x 1.25 is correct. I suggest you get extended open ended or closed. Tarmac is a good place to source some from. Muteki are popular, https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/muteki-sr35-closed-steel-wheel-nut-sets-with-locking-nuts-20549.html Edited November 8, 2018 by Payco
Getjiggy
Cheers chaps, however the link suggested; https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/muteki-sr35-closed-steel-wheel-nut-sets-with-locking-nuts-20549.html . States "Muteki lug nuts are made with tapered bottoms specifically for aftermarket wheels. These are not for use on OEM wheels!". Does this apply to me, since I'm using stock Rays, confusing stuff! TubbyZ
I think the standard rays have a rounded lug shape rather than tapered do they not?
Payco
yep, they do.
