Keyser
Annnndddd in other, other news .................... Got the exhaust and turbo housing back from ceramic coating Got that all fitted on the rebuilt engine and we are off to Dyno on Thursday all being well, I'll let you know how that goes and try and get a video or two of the power runs Now onto something GREEN I bought this little latching relay from the bay 50p for scale Now this is for a GT-R mod I'm working on but I needed it housed in something, apparently Nissan heard about it and they said it was a brilliant idea and immediately dispatched a custom built GT-R upgrade box, and the relay fits like so Of course they had heard of my reputation so it came personalised O did I say Nissan sorry I meant @Beb who happened to have his 370z in the Zed Shed for some exhaust work and he also happens to have a 3D printer, so while I worked on the Zed he got busy designing on his laptop He is of course an expert in these matters and it came out perfect first time or maybe not No seriously huge thanks to Beb for offering to do it and producing the perfect box in the best colour What's it for ??? Keyser
Been a bit busy on everything except the Pop build to be honest, had Maz @gg2040uk in for a new set of brakes Then Chris @cs2000 for some rear over arches see https://www.350z-uk.com/topic/107170-cs2000s-zed-journey/?do=findComment&comment=1807110 Then we had another favour for a friend - I don't care if its just a lawn mower the work that went in demands I post pics He said "Can you weld up a small hole in my lawn mower" I said yes Not sure it was worth it but it was fun and good practice Keyser Maximum Effort! 5

Keyser
In other news, The Radical went in for dyno and tune this is maps 2, 3 and 4 (Map 1 is missing but it's spring pressure only and about 200HP) we have a 5 step boost controller The bottom run here is "Party Mode" that's map 5 with the overtake button pressed - She will make more but we thought given engine wear and tear and the fact we melted 2 valves last season along with only weighing in at 600KG this was enough!! That's over 500HP per ton by my calculations Should be a handful Keyser Maximum Effort Edited May 1, 2019 by Keyser

Keyser
Well here's some news from the Zed Shed II - We've only gone and bought a "Barn Find" Literally a barn find and here is the find in a barn ................ Blurry Pic for @andybp And after a couple of hours loading the trailer ...... just need to collect the two cars/shells What we have is one 1990 Nissan 200sx that was driven into the barn 7 years ago (red one) and hasn't moved since and another 200sx, also 1990, which was bought as a non runner but had a very clean shell, this was stripped and steam cleaned 7 years ago then parked along side the first one ready for the transplant, the transplant never happened! The red(ish) one is the donor and the silver one was supposed to be a full on high BHP show car, The donor had a built engine with turbo and still has the intercooler ally rad etc etc but is running a standard engine now after the old engine blew at Santa Pod. The original owner then started to collect parts for the build, we have, new adjustable coil-over suspension still in the box, a full body kit imported from the states still wrapped for shipping, a full roll cage imported from Australia!? still wrapped and unused, along with loads of engine bling, 2 engines, 2 gearboxes a sports exhaust a second intercooler with all polished pipes, a welded diff a spare set of very wide alloys and everything to put the silver one back together should we want to. There is also supposed to be at least 2 turbos one is apparently from a GTR and has the manifold to fit to the 200sx. So what are we going to do with it all? We at the Zed Shed felt it was our duty to rescue these Nissan's and get them back into the world of petrol heads, I have so many projects at the moment that I most likely won't have time to do the build myself and will have to pass these along to another enthusiast, so if you know anyone that wants a project I've got a great starter kit More of something soon Keyser Maximum Effort
Beb
I enjoyed this page of the Ford Pop build thread. This page contains: Tractor Tool box Radical engine GTR mods Lawnmower 400sx (200sx *2?) This page doesn't contain: Ford Pop (This is why I don't make progress on my projects either!)

Keyser
Hmmm Dilemma, I have the 2 x 200SX's back and now I have to decide what to do, I have to many projects for 2 reasons. 1. Space - So much is now in the garage I'm running out of space to actually work! 2. Mrs Keyser - She is happy for me to do whatever but if I fill the garden with rusty car shells she may not be so accommodating! So what to do???? Do I put the Pop in storage and build the 200SX the better of the 2 shells is recoverable or do I sell it on and get back into the Pop Z. I can't do it the other way round - well I could but it seems pointless to pull a car out of 9 years storage then put it back in again not to mention you would be storing the donor car just for the parts and storage is going to have a cost attached, that will be more for the two 200's rather than just the Pop. Been trying to decide on the best option, but I need to do something so I can get back to tinkering. In other News - Radical went out on Monday for it's first track day of the year and since it has had the newly rebuilt engine in. Got to track went to noise testing, Passed that and the clutch started to slip on the way back to the pits Stripped the multi-plate clutch in the pit lane, then the slave cylinder nothing obvious, went to bleed it back up and the master cylinder stopped pumping Luckily Merlin who are at Castle Combe have the recon's in stock and only about £5 more than I could get it online. Fitted that through the tiny hole designed for filling the brake/clutch reservoir - What a PITA job!!! Anyway did all that and finished during the lunch break, She ran great all afternoon We ran her on Map 1 (200HP) and a quick run on Map 2 (225HP) - made 5mph more over Avon rise in Map 2 so it seems all is well, pulls better out of the corners as well, We will give her a once over and full nuts and bolts check then get her back out for another run and try the Big Boy maps soon Keyser Maximum Effort
