Keyser
Good evening my trusty 12 readers I hope you are all well on this cold and damp evening. So a catch up on the week to get us going.......................... Finished the other shelf Then got the BIG tab;le out Spent 2 hours cutting the middle legs off - the reason may become apparent later in the build, then got it level. I bought 2 yes 2 digital levels I then made these to attach the cross member it's level the other way as well Had to sort the heat warped chassis rail This one- relief cut and clamped Welded cleaned it up and it's much better now I fitted the rails and checked everything was true Happy with that, I had this all ready for Saturday morning More later .....................................

Keyser
Yes it's later @andybp If you're that bored you could reply to my pm Nice @andy james So this is the next on the list - I got this rotary table with my milling machine and have used it twice, the problem is that it is hard to use and the shaft is bent so it keeps sticking and it takes about an hour to do a full rotation using the handle Anyway I put the shaft in the lathe to bring it back to true, put a new thread on the end Found this - I think it's a brake piston from a metro anyway it made a good pulley Made another pulley from some bar stock Then added a windscreen wiper motor It's fab isn't it? I thought I'd test it before adding a speed controller - works well, here's a little vid I Love it Random picture of a foot for @mattross1313 More in a mo Edited December 8, 2018 by Keyser

Keyser
Here's a shocker for you - work on the Pop Started by bolting the jig I made from @Beb 's car to the chassis rails Cut some metal up made my first 2 upper control arm mounts Then made a top plate Those that read the Rotary table post above will have noticed the original top mount being cut up like so Then the new top mount With a bit of welding and sanding the two became one The plate was then trimmed to a sensible size I said to Mrs Keyser "It looks OEM" she said "only if OEM means Over Engineering Maniac" - Not sure how to feel about that anyway between that and the rotary table build that's all I had time for today Left it here More tomorrow (as soon as I sneak out of the shopping trip to Ikea Keyser Maximum Effort
