taybo
Got a P0304 code on a journey the other weekend and car was running rough. Changed the spark plug and coil pack and the same code keeps coming back. Plug was oily when I removed it. Thinking it's something serious now. Any help appreciated. Kieran O'Quick
I had multiple failures on a cylinder and swapping coils didn't work until I put a good new coil in with lots of dielectric grease. Ran it very hard since with no probs. Might not be your solution but its a cheap try... Good luck
cheeky_em
A common fault on the engines is the rocker cover grommets failing and letting oil past into the spark plug tunnel. Take the coil pack out and shine a torch down to see if any oil has collected.
taybo
I swapped the spark plug and coil pack for new items but no different. I think I'm going to book it into the local Nissan dealership for a full diagnostic :-(
Kieran O'Quick
Search valve stem seals for a bit more info. Could be that but could be other stuff too..
cheeky_em
Don't want to scare you, might not be the issue at all but this page talks about the fix for the leaky grommets. Might be worth a little read through Good luck!
