Tricey27
Hi All. I have had my nissan for around 3 years and fitted a new headunit when i purchased it. Ever since i replaced this i have had a issue with the climate control. When in Auto mode if i set it to 18/19 degrees the blower is full speed blowing cold and anything above it just blows red hot full speed. Im guessing this could be a interior temp sensor fault or wiring but dont know the location of this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Many thanks Adam
Jack94
If the fault only started after you fitted a new headunit then my first guess would be that you've damaged the ribbon cable going to the climate controls whilst pulling off/replacing the trim to get to the radio. I think any damage to the cable/connector can cause the climate control to behave erratically.
ZMANALEX
As Jack has said more than likely you have damaged the ribbon which unfortunately means that you will require to replace the complete box and ribbon. In stock and good to go same/next day. Just drop me a message if I can help further.
