I dont want to mess around with painting it as the pearl white is apparently really difficult to colour match, and my OCD wont cope if its not right So looking for one already factory painted. Im impressed you have preempted that, as i did not There are not holes that i could see, so i unscrewed the sensors from the grill plastic on the old bumper, left them all wired up (as it causes all sorts of error lights that just wont go away if you unplug them apparently), and have just bolted/cable tied them where i can. I found the front crash bar struts the best place. I should have taken a pic, but didnt think before i put the bumper back on. I have got not error lights, and they are all sitting secure, so all good. That picture is just making me want to find a Nismo rear bumper as soon as possible! Looks great! Thanks for the info, that's very helpful. The guy you bought your spoiler from has a V1 Nismo bumper for sale. As for painting a good body shop will be able to match it. It will help them if they have your old bumper to colour match with.

For some reason Nissan decided to make the nismo headlamp washers smaller than the GT spec, so they dont fit in the nismo holes. Well at least the whole unit doesnt. I have decided short term, to just unclip the washer covers and double sided tape them to the bumper. So i dont actually have headlight washers currently. I have no idea how much the nismo headlight washer units are to buy...

Ebized
Will the absence of headlamp washers be an issue at MOT time?

I mean technically by the rule book it shouldnt pass. But in reality, some mot garages would just see the washer covers which are there, and not actually test them. But the plan is to have new nismo washer units by then anyway.

davidv10
I have meant to post for ages, but has just been super busy. I went down to Abbey Motorsport and got the EcuTek remap and Abbey Advanced Traction Control for the car. The guys at Abbey were great and very friendly! And the results were very good for the remap! The end result was: - 326bhp at the wheels - 272lbs/ft at the wheels Also, the advanced traction control i cannot praise enough! It does a great job of feeding in the power to the level that you set, and it gives you a lot more confidence in the wet!
davidv10
This build thread is now at an end as I decided to be very impulsive and saw a very well priced 2015 Nismo 370z that I just could not say no to... Therefore the car is now up for sale. Here is the for sale thread: https://www.350z-uk.com/topic/125300-for-sale-tastefully-modified-370z-gt-pearl-white/ I managed to get a few pictures of both cars together which is so lovely to see! Here is the link to the new Nismo build thread: https://www.350z-uk.com/topic/125346-2015-nismo-370z-modified/ Edited February 16, 2020 by davidv10
