Pete22
Hi, I would like to purchase a new cubby and install a screen into the Cubby. I have a Nissan 350z roadster without sat \nav. Could I buy the Sat\Nav version of the Cubby and would it fit ok and be easier to install a screen into. Has anyone be able to this and if so any advice would be most welcome. taybo
Firstly be aware that there are slight differences between facelift and non facelift cubbys. I went the other way and removed the sat nav unit and put a cubby in; whilst replacing the Bose headunit with an android headunit. With this I can run Google maps etc. etc.

Also, what did you do with your steering wheel controls?
Bullet
yeah i just ran a lead from the headphone socket to the aux input. Steering wheel control still works on my aftermarket head unit, you'll just need an interface that suits your head unit.
Foo56
Nice - I think I'll end up doing something similar but plan to remove the old satnav controls and borrow my mate's 3d printer to make a cover for it or something of that ilk. One other thing.... do you know if the hands free on the wheel can work with aftermarket headunit? I guess some do but unsure if it uses the OEM mic or if this needs replacing.
