M13KYF
where are you based. There are a couple of good independents I know of to consider using in the North. TDI based in warrington and ESR based in sunderland. Tried and trusted
Stew
plugs are long life I believe! The servicing works on 3 tiers P1 - oil and filter change basically P2 - bit more P3 - big service Believe that L (instaed of P) servincing is available too. The car is not connected to the Nissan computer in L services. The nissan schedule is staggered. I can't remember the sequence. There is loads on servicing in the forum. Have a search. Also seems to vary with which area you're in!

mbs
Love to see some pics of your G35, I'm considering a G37 when its launched here as a replacement for the Z.
H5
Welcome to the site. Saw plenty of these G35's when I was in the States last week, thought they were quite nice. Service order as Mike listed.
Newbie 350GT
Thanks for the response guys im based in a small town called Colchester in essex. its between chelmsford and ipswich. this place i went to quoted me 240 and said plugs alone are around £80, but nationwide autocentre said all inclusive its 170. i know that i would prefer to see a decent service stamp on my history. the service im getting done is P2 i think. So not sure how much i should be looking for. if nationwide is decent enough, why not save 70 quid u know. problem is, its a Japenese import, which means parts are hard to get hold of 240 guys are a jap import specialist.. but more dear. but i dont want to pay a premium just for the heck of it! any suggestions/referals would be greatly appreciated. pictures attached as requested. M13KYF
what mileage has it done? According to service manual platinum tipped plugs should be replaced every 105,000 miles
Newbie 350GT
what mileage has it done? According to service manual platinum tipped plugs should be replaced every 105,000 miles aaah thats good to know well i had some real bad luck with this car the guy really scammed me hard.. basically cars done 15k miles.. which isnt bad for an 04 model. the car has its service done at 13k miles which is great, what the guy didnt mention and what i didnt read was that it was done over 2 years ago!! so just to be on the safe side, i want to get a proper service done .i.e P2 so im sure the plugs are fine, but i just thought best be safer than sorry. unfortunatly the car manual is in Japanese, and i havnt had the chance to order and english one. so not sure what the car has without going in! what do you suggest? Newbie 350GT
Love to see some pics of your G35, I'm considering a G37 when its launched here as a replacement for the Z. G37 has had some raving reviews about it. but with a hefty price tag. it launches in 2009 here in the UK, which is good news for current G35 Owners as the car would be more recognised. Bad because it will make my car more common but good interms of not stressing about not having a dealer around. think price will be around 30K but its a beast and a half. M13KYF
you need to double check that you have platinum tipped plugs as they might not be standard on your car

sinbad
Welcome mate! Im surprised your donig the P2 as thats usually only done during Nissans warranty period which you will obviously not have being an import. The L2 i believe actually includes more work and works out cheaper which is odd. so dont quote me. Its on here somewhere though, im sure. Nice ride by the way

Nice ride by the way thanks mate you dont think i need to do a P2? problem is, i have service histroy, but its the P1 and its all in Japenese. dont at 13 k miles. so im guessing it was P1 its only 2 k miles more and im getting it done again cos its been 2 yrs plus since. so not sure how much i should wiegh time against mileage here. P1 should be suffice i think, but i just want to be on the safe side. im a bit naive about cars in all honesty. Any suggestions and advice is greatly appreciated guys and thanks for all thats been said so far..
