John Hannon
I’ve just been doing a bit of tidying up under the bonnet and noticed loads of pine needles lying under the brake servo. Took all the “dressing” panels off to gain access and from the brake servo area and around and the battery area I half filled the Dyson. The previous owner obviously parked under pine trees!! My worry was that with the heat under the bonnet that these could easily ignite. Might be worth checking yours!! Regards all John
coyoteboy
I think a number of other items would be igniting along with them (ignition point being >300C I think) - your general under-bonnet temps never get anywhere near ignition point of these things. If it were local to an exhaust component I would be more worried, but the brake servo is off in a separate compartment from the engine anyway?
