N13GEY
Anyone assist? I've a 2004 Zed, lowered by 30mm. I have issues negotiating speed humps and would like to reduce the lowering to say 15 or 20mm. Any advice? I've a set of standard springs in the garage and if I decide to reduce the lowering to say 15 or 20mm could these standard springs be cut or modified? Again any advice would be appreciated.
Hayd350
I'd suggest buying a set of Tein s tech springs for a 17mm drop, should give you decent clearance for day to day. This is on the assumption that you're lowered on springs now and not coilovers. Oh and no don't cut you're stock springs, it won't end well. ZMANALEX
As Hayd350 has said: If you are running stock shocks then Tein ie the way to go. They will give you a drop of 17mm & 14mm
monkeybrain1234
Teins on mine. Lowers it perfectly and no speed bump issues. Even on the Airport multi-storey car parks it's okay. Worth getting the white line camber arms for extra adjustment. Pic of stance.

Suggest PM me with details if pos. Edited July 29, 2018 by N13GEY pressed send b4 time!
N13GEY
I'm now committed to changing my 30mm Eibach lowering springs for 17mm Teins. I reckon this will give me clearance over speed humps and stones that get deposited on the track to Chez N13GEY. As a 1st pass, has anyone a set of 17mm Teins that are going begging/swop for Eibachs? Panoz33
Tein springs fitted here with wheel spacers. No problems over speed bumps at all and the ride is drastically improved. I was debating to go with eibach as I would like it a little bit lower but the fact that I would need camber arms and the possibility of scraping over speed bumps I chose the more sensible option. The Bounty Bar Kid
If you're going to track it, I'd suggest going for coilovers. I had teins and it made my car feel wallowy. On the road she was fine at high speeds just not on track.
davey_83
That would have been the dampers making it feel wollowy on track, not the springs.
The Bounty Bar Kid
Oh really. My bad. Thought it'd be the springs.
davey_83
Because you could fit coilovers with a soft spring rate, maintain a stock ride height and you'd have way less wollow/roll thru the bends than OE suspension.

N13GEY
I'll have a set of 30mm Eibachs available once the new 17 Teins are fitted, if your interested. Edited August 23, 2018 by N13GEY
Panoz33
Do you have a picture of your car with the eibach? As I said I would like it a bit lower but drivability is more important as I use the car daily Thanks man.
