Ceejay29
I have just come across a photograph of my car on a random companies website advertising a part that wasn’t even purchased from them. It has been doctored to remove the Tarmac Sportz decals. Cheeky feckers! I can only presume that they obtained it from here! Should I be annoyed or is it a complement? D350z
Send them an invoice for £150 usage fee. I'm a full time pro photographer and can tell you what they have done is theft. They are a business too so that's bang out of order. If they had asked you I'd say be flattered and oblige but to not ask is a crime and they should pay you. Just my thoughts. PS: screen grab your evidence
Ceejay29
Problem is that it is shared on an online database; photobucket. I do not expect a royalty, simply frustrated that they are using it for their own financial gain. The part isn’t even their product.
davey_83
Over the years I've had numerous examples of the same sometimes with the reg or without and always took it as a complement. Edited May 15, 2018 by davey_83
coldel
You could argue they are falsely advertising work/services/products that are not their own. So misselling their own products?
