snoged
Hi I know this has been on here before but cant find the solution , now we have a bit of warmer weather and getting stuck in traffic on the M25 this weekend ,my clutch pedal didnt like it, and did not want to return to the right height the longer It took to get moving the worse it got. If I remember right is it a fluid/ pipe problem ? do I just need to change to fluid ? thanks for any help with this......
davey_83
Known issue for these cars, combination of old fluid and wearing slave cylinder. Also the clutch flexi rubber hose runs directly under the passenger side cat, so gets rather hot. Id recommended to first change the fluid and then if the matter isn't resolved the line and slave cylinder themselves.
Adrian@TORQEN
As above, replace fluid with Motul RBF660 - https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/350z/brakes/fluid/2068-350z-motul-rbf-660-racing-brake-fluid-dot-4-101667.html Slave cylinders and stainless steel braided line will definitely sort the problem out: https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/350z/powertrain/ancillaries/1673-350z-de-05-07-stoptech-premium-clutch-slave-cylinder-13842019.html or this depending on your car https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/350z/powertrain/ancillaries/1672-350z-03-04-stoptech-premium-clutch-slave-cylinder-13842017.html Line here: https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/350z/powertrain/ancillaries/353-350z-de-technafit-stainless-steel-braided-clutch-line-nc-310.html
longsh07
As above. Slave cylinder + braided line + new fluid. No point mucking about, just get it all done in one go. You can forgo the braided line as it's usually the salve cylinder, but I'd personally recommend it to cover all bases
