JamesT2992
Okay so today I changed my Variable Timing Control Solenoid on the left hand side. After I changed it over and refitted everything correctly, I got the car up to operating temperature by letting it sit running for around 20 minutes. I then reset the cel light, and held the revs between 1800-2000rpm for 20 seconds. Upon doing so it seemed fine, the revs started to go up and down by themselves inbetween 1800-2000rpm. So after 20 seconds, I then let it idle for a bit, and turned it off. Turned it back on and did the same, revs varied inbetween so thought this was normal, so after 20 seconds again, I left it running. Took it for a drive, and all was fine. However it has just developed a very low rev misfire/hesitation on a light throttle press. I took it out for a long run down the dual carriageway and down the motorway and it seems to be getting better. Is there anything I have missed or did I not do the reset procedure correctly? Hopefully, someone can help me
JamesT2992
Whoops, was meant to update this a while ago. Problem was sorted by an uprev at Horsham! Can an admin lock the thread please.
