DaddyCee
Hi, I have recently had a service where the engineer has cleaned the throttle body as it was gunked up. They also did a replacement of the sparks during the service. Since having the car back I have noticed the following. 1) the car now idles at 1250rpm where as before it was more 950 to 975rpm (this is when cold or warm) 2) when dipping the clutch to change gear the revs ramp up to 1950rpm which never use to happen (this is when warm) To help the engineer fault find the issue, would any of you knowledgeable lot have any ideas on why the car is behaving the way it is please? rothers2901
Try this it sounds like the throttle valve needs resetting. Edited March 6, 2018 by rothers2901
