andy james Posted February 18, 2018 Share Posted February 18, 2018 NATIONAL Z MEET ON SATURDAY 28TH July 2018 We don’t all get together enough so I have arranged a national event as follows: Daytime Venue at the British Motor Museum, Warwick Arrival 0800 hours – 0900 hours to 16.00 hours (approx) I have secured a club discount of £10 per person (usually £14) for entry into the museum. www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk We have been allocated a dedicated parking area on arrival for up to 40 Zeds and a 20% discount on all refreshments in the cafe. We also have a meeting room for group discussion, raffle and prize giving. Prize Categories 1. Martin Mac Award 2. Best 350 Z 3. Best 370 Z 4. Best Wheels 5. Best Modified Z 6. Best Overall Z Evening Event at the Hilton Hotel Warwick For those of you that would like to make a weekend of this event I have managed to secure a significant bed & breakfast discount for 20 rooms at the Hilton Warwick/Stratford-upon-Avon on the Saturday evening. We have a private function room for a maximum of 50 guests where a 3 course meal will be served, which the club has kindly subsidised, (menu TBA) followed by a disco. Costs 1. Hotel bed and breakfast £105 for a double room. 2. Hotel bed and breakfast £95 for a single room. 3. Three course meal, subsidised by the forum@ £16.50 per head including the disco. Hotel Booking This is on a 1st come 1st served basis as I have only secured 20 rooms. Go onto the Hilton Warwick hotel website https://secure3.hilton.com/en_US/hi/reservation/book.htm?execution=e2s1 and check the date 28th July, then apply the discount code ANISSZ. This code is only available until 1st April. Alternatively you can call their central reservation team on 0800 856 8000 and quote this code. ONLY ADD YOUR NAME TO THE LIST ONCE YOU HAVE SECURED YOUR BOOKING FOR THE EVENING Evening Meal Payment Once you have secured your room and added your name to the list of evening members, please send me a PM with the names of diners and I will give you the payment details. I have allowed 10 spaces for the evening meal and disco for those who live locally and do not need a hotel room for the night. Whilst the Forum and the Team do what we can to support, this is all happening due to Andy's vision for a 2018 event and the graft required to pull it all together. I think everyone who attended Coventry last year, recognised that big national events are a huge part of the club, let's help Andy make this a success.
