ATTAK Z
I had my cars Siramik coated 12 months ago and have used the recommended shampoo since ... is there anything else suitable that I can buy locally without spoiling the applied coating ? Stutopia
Dunno about buy locally but Bathe+ tops up SiO2 coatings nicely. I also quick detail with CarPro Reload from time to time for the same reason. http://gyeonquartz.com/product/batheplus/ https://carpro.uk.com/products/reload-inorganic-spray-coating-500ml-2015-edition That said, given the alleged “harder than glass, lasts for a million years” stuff that goes with coatings, it’s hard to imagine just regular car shampoo will do any harm.
ilogikal1
Any non-alkaline shampoo will be fine, which pretty much just excludes Bilt Hamber that I'm aware of. Coatings are fine with pH neutral or acidic substances but alkalis weaken them. No need for anything fancy unless you want to top up the protection, in which case Bathe+ (free delivery on all orders from Polished Bliss, you can't much more local than delivered to your door!) would be my go-to.
