I can't find it either. The service manual seems to indicate that this is not normally a serviceable part, but my previous car developed a leak in the auto box which ultimately led to a major problem, so it's useful to be able to top up the fluid if anything happens. I also wonder what mileage/age that it would be advisable to change the fluid. My car is nearly 5 years old but has only done 37,000 miles. jim Posted October 26, 2008 Share Posted October 26, 2008 Bump! Anybody got any idea on this yet? I am still unable to find the fluid level gauge or the charging pipe. Update - found what I assume is the dipstick for the auto box fluid up near the bulkhead, but not sure if this is also the pipe you use to top up the fluid. Also need to know where the drain plug is.
