jamesmac
Rather than your average Monday morning, mine started off a little worse than normal. Typical driver not paying attention! Good job I had that rear dash cam installed. Hopefully she'll be back to normal by next week! Edited January 29, 2018 by jamesmac

Rock_Steady
Oh dear, this happens all too often. I hope you can get a decent image of the offender, number plate or what not.
Payco
Sorry to hear this, hope you get it fixed soon. What happened to what looks like two bullet holes below your rear plate. How did that occur ?
mattross1313
Sorry to see this. Hopefully she comes back fighting fit again. Good job you had it on camera I have run a front facing cam for over a year now but keep thinking of getting a rear also. Do you have any info on the one you have? I've had a look around previously, but wasn't sure how it would work with such a slope on the rear screen. Thanks

Pretty easy to install and can't really tell its there with all the wires tucked away. Had to screw the rear camera into the plastic but its that small you don't notice it On 30/01/2018 at 18:57, davey_83 said: Rotten luck pal, worth claiming on the insurance? Too right it is! It'll be his insurance I'm claiming on Got the car booked in for an evaluation on Friday, hopefully all goes well and she can be back on the road soon! marzman
So can you use a dashcam to claim off a 3rd party's insurance if they've not stopped to exchange details, is that how it works? Great if so.
jamesmac
Luckily in my case they stopped to exchange details. But I see no reason in not being able to claim off their insurance as long as you have their number plate and the incident on film.
