nissanman312
I feel the same about mine sitting in the garage. It owes me to much to risk on track but in all honesty it's a bit to fast to realy enjoy to full potential on the road without risking licence or life. If it wasn't for our annual Europe trips I think mine would be gone that's about the only place I found you can realy let it rip with minimum traffic around. andybp
As I see it your 370 is just sitting there depreciating , you're not driving it and you're not tinkering with it so just sell it already ,put the money in the bank and wait for something to grab you

LRF4N
First things first- that 350 pick up looks gash. No vote from me on that Secondly- when it comes to cars you follow your heart not your head. The 370 May be more subtle that your 50 but it’s a work of art. 1700 miles or 17000 miles, just a number. If you really enjoy the miles then keep it as your fun car If you have your heart set on something else, or if you’ve lost interest in it that’s different- in that case sell up, but sounds like it still tickles you. For me it would be huracan green respray Whats your daily driver?
Adrian@TORQEN
Sell the 370z, put some money in Crypto Currency after doing some proper research, put some in the bank and wait 1-2 years. Huracan next, easily.
Rob350
DO IT !!!! I'm sure you can make a better example though.. this one looks abit tatty but absolutly love the idea though Edited January 28, 2018 by Rob350

I agree, and now I've seen 2 or 3 pickup versions the roof is wrong - could be changed though Still make a nice Rally car out of a 350 though Currently leaning towards keeping the 370 but don't have to make any rush decisions so still thinking about what to do. Daily is a Ford Transit Custom - Not a bad van, bit big for parking sometimes but other wise does everything I need
Jay84
It's the b pillar too, it's the wrong angle for a pick up. External roll cage, spare wheel in a Dakar rally style though...they look better.

Keyser
OK I've been looking at cars on eBay, auto-trader and even FB and nothing - in my budget - floats my boat enough to trade in the 370 at the moment so I'm going to keep her for now and if nothing changes I'll probably put her in for a respray (colour TBC) at the end of the year when the weather goes all British again. May even add a few more mods for fun just to keep the Zeditis at bay In the meantime the Radical is running again Just a few cosmetic bits to do and she is ready for track season The Mini - Still undecided finish or sell not sure yet, cross that bridge a bit later in the year. I have a small queue of people wanting to "visit" the ZedShed II starting with the LS Zed, be nice to see her again especially as I always have to test drive her after I do anything - just to be sure there are no issues, Like I said to Wasso after fitting the air freshener "you need to be sure it's secure" I reserve the right to change my mind without notice at any time. 2 1

Wendy
I like indecisiveness ! I am there too on my 350. I get way too attached and considering keeping it and buying my next car. I already have another. !! Interesting thread and read, crossing many areas of my thinking. Not the pricey stuff mind !! I am fast coming to the decision no one car/vehicle ticks all the boxes, no matter how hard you try. I decided long ago, I needed 9 cars to cover everything and keep the drives of them interesting !! Only way forward, I reckon - I like the pick up idea, but not a 350 pick up personally. Something rustic that needs a tinker and useful vehicle perhaps ? Perhaps something for some Off Roading ? Keep the rest of the cars until you know for sure what you want to do.
docwra
All I can say is theres no point in having toys that you cant/wont play with Ive come into some money recently and naturally decided to spend it on a new car. Except there isnt anything that Id really want - I test drove an S/C 370Z and while I liked it there was no way Id use it over my 135i, or even the MR2 for that matter, and while I like Range Rovers Ive got a better milemuncher already. Id really like a Cayman but again, the 135i covers that area nicely, if you have to decide which car youre taking to Nurburgring then you can probably sell one of them. Sadly I have to agree with Dan, sell the 370 and stop the depreciation and it will make it a lot easier to buy its replacement when it reveals itself to you
jumping350
what about a s/c 350z pick up? you can hack mine up for your car any day but others are on the right track i guess, with all the other toys you have to play with, but if nothing floats your boat keep hold of it I say for a little while longer and try to use it more if can, even with the wrap issues its still one of the meanest 370's ive seen, if its going to sit maybe shift it and lay in wait Edited February 1, 2018 by jumping350

leonk
Hi Chris, just seen this. If you've got the urge to build something, what about a historic race or rally car. Well built mk11 escorts for instance are fetching fortunes at the moment with the cost being mainly in the labour which you can do. Ignore Doogy's daft suggestion about a JAAAAAAG, it will drain you mentally and financially.
Flashback
What about making a drift car Chris? Or maybe chop up and build the Dakar style car, put a really stupid amount of power through it and then make it in to a monster truck.
