Eggdaddy
Hi folks. Searched and searched on here for post to help with my Lamp Washer problem, found this thread which stops without any solution to the problem. Im sure its been posted before but could not find the fix. 04 UK GT Washers used to work fine but stopped a year ago, ( they do not move out of the closed state ) No whining or pump sound. assumed it was a fuse or something. However since you guys and girls have created this awesome forum. Does anyone know where to start debugging this. Water full. Windscreen washers work. Not sure at the time of writing if the rear has a nozzle, thinking not. Again help appreciated. Ta. SHEZZA
There's two tanks with separate pumps. I'm sure the headlight washers have there own tank and pump. So it's possible that the pump has failed as your hearing nothing. Edited December 15, 2017 by SHEZZA
ZMANALEX
As Shezza has said: ^^^ Headlamp washer pumps in stock and good to go same/next day.
Eggdaddy
Well this is embarrasing. I have owned my Z for going on 5 years Never filled a seperate Washer tank. Someone got a pic of where that baby is ! I understand it wont operate if it senses low level, so perhaps thats all it is?
ZMANALEX
There are 2 x tanks but only 1 x filler. The headlamp washer feeds off the windscreen washer tank.
