nixy
I'm thinking of treating my car to a service now its hit a massive 10k miles! I've found a decent sounding local-ish jap car specialist but how do I know what needs doing in line with the schedule? I would like to be able to tell him what I want doing but other than the obvious I don't know. So what's in a p1, p2 and p3. I've used the search button but it didn't really help. M13KYF
why don't you have your service done at BigPhil's ESR. I would feel more confident with someone who knows what there doing rather than having to tell somone what to do. Phil also goes beyond the standard P1, P2 & P3 to check on other little items as part of the service.

tmJak
i took mine to tdi north and they knew what to do and did a top notch job. think most decent jap garages will be pretty good esp if recommended on site

nixy
This place is fairly local to me and I would like to build up a raport with someone close enough to ring if I need anything doing or have any problems. He mainly does skylines and scoobies at the moment. And Stuey, your joke is too subtle, I don't get it - enlighten me or give me the answer. nixy
ta that's quite useful. Not sure what the two different colours signify or which bits get done at which service though.

Chris`I
ta that's quite useful. Not sure what the two different colours signify or which bits get done at which service though. From what I can gather: I=inspect R=replace L=Lube T=Tighten Colours alternate so they can easily highlight the right line and tick the right box. And obviously each thing unde the different P1,P2,P3 heading is what is done
