zelda
Hello, I had an advisory following an MOT for "Rear level sensor incorrectly fitted". Unfortunately I couldn't get booked in with my regular mechanic so I'm not sure how experienced the tester is with zeds, but he said that the sensor is upside down but not a difficult job to remove and rotate it. I think I've found the sensor he's talking about but I've no-idea if it's correctly installed or even what it's supposed to do (handling is spot-on). It doesn't look like it's ever been disturbed and is on the rear passenger side of the car only. Some pictures: Can anybody tell if this is right or not? Bonus points for what it's supposed to do. Thanks in advance!
ZMANALEX
That is your Xenon headlamp self levelling sensor.

One sensor, at the rear of the car, to control headlights?! Lol I thought it was something to do with suspension. No wonder I can't find anything on this via search.. Do you think it looks correctly installed?
scobie140
I've always wondered what that flimsy thing was for!
