evilscorp
Needing some help FI guy's, how or what do you do for clamping the coupler? I can't seem to fit two J clamps in place so will have to try a worm and a J unless anyone has ideas? Not tried the J clamp underneath as it would be a pain in the butt to undo and still might foul on the manifold or the throttle body. Ekona
Nowt wrong with a worm drive clamp. If it fits, it fits. The other alternative would be to get a bigger coupler and possibly shave the hardpipe down a bit.
evilscorp
The hard pipe has a nice bevel’ed end to it so would rather keep it as is. Hopefully it should be ok, a bigger coupler might work. Or I cut another groove out the bonnet so I can fit the j clamp with the mechanism on top. scobie140
After trailing through the minefield that is now photo bucket and fighting off 500 adverts and pop ups it looks like I've just used two worm jubilee clips.
evilscorp
I’ve had mine pop off once before which wasn’t fun and in the future the boost will be upped (when I get my finger out) so there is more chance the pipe wants to go walkes
ZMANALEX
Worms will be fine providing your pipework has lips on the end. If your pipework does not have a lip, it is very easy just to run a stitch of weld around the end of the pipe or coupler.
evilscorp
The 3”vortech pipe has a lip but I don’t remember seeing one on the throttle body?
