Black 350Z now mine....and lovin' it

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Picked up my black 350Z GT at the weekend after a painful 2 weeks wait. Felt like the longest wait ever but so worth it.

So far with 150 miles on the clock I haven't found a thing I want to change about this lovely car. Everything is working fine, comfort is incredible and even the fuel economy (using the word economy loosely) is pleasantly surprising. No doubt It will decrease as I start putting my foot down but it's a car that you don't need to...it just goes.

I can safely say it is the best car I've ever owned and I've had some great cars over the years.

Looking forward to many good years with this car and hopefully meeting a few locals around Stafford....I'm sure I'll find some, who share the love affair with these highly underrated cars.

Happy motoring guys

:welcome:    "I haven't found a thing I want to change about this lovely car".... two things are gonna happen.. 1. You'll catch Zedittis and start modding... 2. IT will force you to change stuff ...eg.. back box pipe will rot  then you can pick a nice exhaust B)

Thanks for the comments guys. Feel well at home here now.

Yur right AMT, found something to take on now.

Firstly I need the boot area soundproofing to make it a little quieter so looks like Dynamat extreme and Dynaliner for there and a few spare dry hours too... unless someone can recommend a different or better material.

Secondly I have an annoying rattling coming from the engine bay...not constantly or when over speed bumps but I know it's there. could be an exhaust bracket or something, not the usual knock you get from suspension. I might have to take it to the local Nissan dealer in Stafford or an independent Zed specialist if one exists in the north midlands.

A nice exhaust will be nice but at the moment the stock one is doing well. back box is solid, the centre main pipe looks a little corroded but no through holes as yet so fingers crossed.

I'll trawl through the help tutorials on here soon to find some help on soundproofing...nice evening reading I think.
