DaddyCee
Hi All. So I popped to my local Halfrauds yesterday eve, looking for some 5/30W oil and was amazed at the range. So what is the difference between XE and FE on the Mobil brand and C3 and C5 on the Castrol brand? I think is marketing BS, surely oil is oil. DC. davey_83
They relate to the viscosity index and warm/cold kinematic viscosity, not all 5w30's are the same. http://lubematch.shell.co.uk/gb/en_GB/browse/cars
