RorySolow
Hola amigos, I've been infected by the mod bug for two years, but after lots of introspective therapy I think I've... errr.... finished? Well, at least styling-wise I've finished. Next, I'm off to Horsham to fit a plenum spacer and remap the engine. THEN, I'll be finished... Unless I supercharge her, or fit a bonnet bulge... erm... you get the jist I like to keep mods tasteful. Interested to hear whether you agree. Mods are: - Linea Corse LC818 rims (19x11 rear, 19x9.5 front) - Eagle F1 A2 tyres (195/35 rear, 165/35 front) - Tein Street Basis Coilovers (no idea of current height, sorry) - DBA T2 rotor brakes front and rear (Brembo spec) - Ferodo DS2500 pads - K&N panel filter - Custom four pipe exhaust (resonator delete, cat-back) - New D2S Xenon bulbs 6000K (amazingly bright) Garages used: - Fully Loaded Cars, Tottenham (Marco and his team are seriously good - they did most of the work and fixed my A/C when an A/C specialist couldn't find the problem!) - Style Dynamics, West London (for a beautiful sounding and fully custom exhaust, with just-noticeable power gain) Mistakes I made along the way: - Tried to fit a Stillen splitter (didn't fit, very expensive, terrible for London speed bumps) - Seat Leon splitter (cheap and looks OK, but a bit ricer IMO) - Excessive lowering (created so much rear camber, £450 worth of tyres lasted only 1 year) - Bought 4x bulbs (only need two apparently) If any Z folk live near London N4, let me know if you're going to a meet. About time I joined one... R. P.S. I now have a Seat Leon splitter for sale, or for free... anyone want it, for a fiver or something!?
RorySolow
Forgot to mention the front lip, installed by Fully Loaded Cars: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FRONT-BUMPER-LIP-SPOILER-VALANCE-COMPATIBLE-WITH-NISSAN-350Z-350-FACELIFT/122409401972
RiceBelongsOnAPlate
I like the look of the quad pipes on the back Quick question with the tyres though... are you sure you're running 195/35 and 165/35's?? Seems very skinny for a Z especially when you say the rims are 11 and 9.5 respectively Edited October 26, 2017 by RiceBelongsOnAPlate
coldel
+1 on quad pipes, didnt think they suited the Z but yours look good

Quite like the quad pipes on a black Zed too, nice one.
RiceBelongsOnAPlate
I'm not a massive fan of the reflectors, mines been debadged, had the reflectors removed and fibreglassed over, in my opinion it gives it a much sleeker look. I'm running a miltek cat back but may consider something like your quad if I get bored/need to replace it! That's mud on the front lip after taking her out, not stone chips Edited October 27, 2017 by RiceBelongsOnAPlate
Ekona
Ooh no, don't like that at all, sorry! It's still got a really odd angle in it, why did you not smooth it out fully?
coldel
Never seen that done before, it does look a bit odd you have a lot of real estate there on the front of the car with nothing on it (maybe debadging makes the effect more pronounced?) - personally I would have as Dan said smoothed the whole thing if fibreglassing? Would have come up a bit like the V3 nismo front bumper?
Ekona
I'm not a huge fan of the v3 front, but that does look much better to my eyes. Got any other angles of the smoothed stock bumper RBOAP?
RiceBelongsOnAPlate
Just giving her a wash as we speak, will take pics when finished
RiceBelongsOnAPlate
Photos don't do it any justice in all fairness, it's got a much different look compared to seeing it in the flesh, maybe the camera angle makes in more pronounced. The lighting certainly hasn't made it very clear as the sun was just dipping behind the houses.
Ekona
Better, I must admit, but still looks a bit odd. And get some mesh on that front grill before you destroy that rad

Only thing that's stopping me is i dont quite know how I'm going to fix it to the bumper!
Ekona
Easy, bumper off and cut a piece for the inside, then screw/glue it to the bumper
