BigJames
Since changing to a single mass flywheel (Nismo Coppermix clutch kit) I get this very annoying buzzing that occurs once the car is warmed up. It did seem to happen at any RPM and speed but the more I look into it, the more it seems to do it around 3k rpm. It pulses, like a buzz, short pause, buzz, short pause, buzz, long pause. It's very hard to record but I just recorded this clip (volume turned up so watch your speakers!) in an effort to get some help! Be warned, I hand held the go pro so it's not a bit jumpy and horrible to view... but hopefully you can hear the sound? My local garage thinks it could be gearbox input shaft bearing - but surely this would do it all the time. When you press the clutch, it goes away but then all vibration from the single mass flywheel goes away. Any ideas before I get the gearbox rebuilt? TIA ***EDIT - sorry mods, accidentally posted in the wrong section - could you please move it? Edited October 6, 2017 by BigJames
