RichieP
I'm a complete freak for keeping my cars secure so first thing I wanted to do was see about upgrading the alarm but was just wondering how good the actual standard alarm is. Who's gone for an aftermarket alarm and who's stuck with the standard Nissan one? I had a word with my mate who's an ICE & Alarm install expert and he says theres a complex electronics system in the 350 which meant I wouldn't be able to have a Clifford installed but could go for something like a Cobra alarm. Saying though though he reckoned that the car would be pretty secure anyway with the stock alarm. So should I stick with the stock and spend the money upgrading the sound or go for an aftermarket alarm first?

M13KYF
think it's down to what they install at the SVA or importer
Sarnie
Apparently the zed is one of the securest cars about. Never heard of one stolen without the keys

On some JDM's the alarm system allows the mirrors to have the facilty for auto fold on locking and auto dip down when reversing
RichieP
Mine doesn't do that, just the usual button to fold them Think I'll hold off on the alarm for now then, spend it on the sound system
