dcash5
Is it safe just to open the key to replace the battery or is it like the audi's and have to be done by dealers?
steve3000
Did my JDM key today, took 5 minutes, was a simple 3v CR1620 battery. Steve
Mathys
Did my JDM key today, took 5 minutes, was a simple 3v CR1620 battery. Steve +1 easy diy job. Wish we had a decent key like today's beemers/audi's, even a golf IV has a nicer looking key! And doesn't share it with a Micra.

The reason BM do that is the drivers want everyone to know they've got the damn thing! At least if you lose your Zed key, someone can't walk straight to the car and get in....
