AMT
Hi guys, My mother was diagnosed with a tumor of which 90% has been removed but the other can't be due to it being close to functions within the brain/body. I apologise I don't know a lot of the technical names but she has Stage 4 of the most aggressive brain tumor and we have been told she won't survive. The doctors/surgeons etc have advised around 12-18 months. My sister has set up a funding page to try and help with some other methods to try and stunt the growth and try and extend my mums life a bit longer and also to possibly try and do things with her to give her a reasonable life, however long that may be. We are currently in contact with a higher specialist down south so hopefully this helps. My mums in her early 50's and has been in the hospital for a little while now going through quite a few operations and has lost the ability to move on her right side, were not sure if that will come back in the remaining time - she can move her arm up a bit. Its been a bit of surprise that's downhearted us all as it came unexpectedly and everything having to happen at such a quick pace (my mum was able to walk and getting on with her normal life about 3 months ago). I'm not expecting anything or much from these things but my sister has set it up to see what can be done for my mum, so if you can share it outwith the site, on your facebook and even if you can contribute - no matter how small - I would be so grateful for you helping. Thanks guys. https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/leigh-tinto

The Chubby Ninja
I'm really sorry to hear this Andrew it's truly an awful position to be in I know it's still a bit contravercial but have you looked into cannabis oils? They are having massive success with them in the states with cancer patients. The way they are extracted and prepared means that they don't get you high or anything but the healing properties of it are fantastic in many cases, they even give it to kids for that very reason. Anyway dude I wish you and your family the best of luck and remember we're not to far away if you want to go out a run or that to clear the head
