m4nn13
People have their own favourites and opinions on what's best and who's filling who's bottles etc, so I thought I'd share my favorite cleaning products with you! Usually spend 3-4 hours on the car once every 2 weeks and it looks fresh out of the factory every time. I've not ventured into waxing / clay baring etc yet as I really don't need to with the results I get from these products. All my products are from http://www.wizardsofdetailing.co.uk/ Wizards Of Detailing Snow Foam (Magical) - http://www.wizardsofdetailing.co.uk/magical-snow-foam-148-p.asp Wizards Of Detailing Wheel Cleaner (Wicked) - http://www.wizardsofdetailing.co.uk/wizards-wicked-wheel-cleaner-155-p.asp Wizards Of Detailing Shampoo (Wizard Wash) - http://www.wizardsofdetailing.co.uk/wizards-wizard-wash-shampoo-152-p.asp Wizards Of Detailing Glass Cleaner (Invisible) - http://www.wizardsofdetailing.co.uk/wizards-invisible-glass-cleaner-165-p.asp Wizards Of Detailing Interior Dress (Enchanted) - http://www.wizardsofdetailing.co.uk/wizards-enchanted-interior-dressing-168-p.asp Peek Polish - http://www.wizardsofdetailing.co.uk/peek-premium-polish-100ml-116-p.asp And they are amazing - give them a go I promise you won't be disappointed! Ekona
You must do an awful lot of miles to need 3-4 hours of cleaning every fortnight! Ah, hang on, no wax. That explains it. Why go to all the effort and then not bother with another 20 mins putting wax on to protect it?! Seems utterly daft to me.
Flashback
Just for the non detailing experts amongst us Dan @Ekona if wax was applied correctly how much longer would a finish last?
Stutopia
I hate wax. Something synthetic and sprayable gets me going!!! How come you're head over heels for just the one brand? Have my favourite brands, AMMO, Sonax, Gyeon, but there isn't one that just does everything for me!

Depends on wax (or sealant for @SuperStu ), but typically it will provide protection anywhere between 3-6 mths, much longer if you use a coating (like 2-5 years). It'll turn a 3 hour wash into a 30 minute one. Edited August 11, 2017 by Ekona

davey_83
Wouldn't need a dedicated wheel cleaner if they were sealed, car shampoo will do nicely once a fortnight. OP reads like a plug post....................
Ekona
Doesn't it just? In fact, I might be tempted to pull it on that basis. Except if it is a plug post it's not a very good one, as they don't understand how important protection is and their website has the lorem ipsum stuff at the bottom still Also, appalling use of apostrophes. Taxboy
Does the OP not wax because there isn't a Wizards of Detailing own brand for this category ?..?............
coldel
Seems odd you rate only one 'homemade' brand, even when there are many just on that site. Similarly like anyone on here I use multiple brands that perform best for each application such as Gyeon, Victoria Concours etc.
ilogikal1
I only use one or two products in total, never tried anything else...
m4nn13
Guys if you want to delete the post by all means feel free I was only voicing my opinion lol! I've never waxed a car before because I've never known how to go about it and friend's who have "had a go" in the past on their own cars have made more of a mess than anything else. I've not tried many other brands because these guys workshop is a ten min drive from my house so its quick and easy for me to get to but if not seen anyone else using their products so thought I'd mention it. I've tried a couple of others in the past (gtechnique, bilthamber, angelwax) and the usual turtlewax and demon shine (never again) but none seem to hold the clean look for as long in my opinion.
