Snjur
No Yokohamas on the test? Ad08R
Ekona
Nope, and probably rightly so. They're a bit track-biased than the others, this is a road tyre test and although the AD08R are brilliant, I think they'd fall far behind on the wet tests and would get an unfavourable score because of that. coldel
Or the guy doing the test would subjectively give them lower scores than the MPS4 because subjectively he had already in advance of the test come to a subjective conclusion on what tyre will win anyway... I would say yes and no. As Yokohama is still rated as road tire. Although they call it "hybrid" I think is still more close to UHP than semi slick. On wet for that type of isn't bad at all in my opinion quite good, much better than my last MPS3. Only downside for road i could say it's stiff sidewall of tyre. Even tread wear is rated at
Ekona
Tbh Yoko would’ve been asked to supply a tyre for the test, and they chose not to. Only they know why.
